Bert R. Oliver practices finance, commercial and real estate law. He began his career at a large New York Park Avenue law firm and relocated to Miami as one of the early partners in what is now Florida’s largest law firm and one of the nation’s largest. He has since been the founder or partner of large, mid-size and boutique law firms.

Mr. Oliver brings notable experience in complex real estate transactions ranging from multi-party assemblages to re-positioning properties for land owners, developers and Real Estate Investment Trusts, and has worked effectively with cities, CRAs and public agencies to take significant projects through approvals.  He has represented multiple banks in secured and unsecured lending matters.

Mr. Oliver also draws on first-hand experience in working with entrepreneurial businesses.  He served as Chief Operating Officer of a publishing company and as founder, Director and Senior Vice President / Strategic Alliances of an internet business solution provider.

A member of The Florida Bar, Mr. Oliver is active in the community. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Enterprise Development Corporation (manager of the technology incubator at the Florida Atlantic University Research Park), and the Advisory Board of The Global Technology Exchange, a Citrix-sponsored global innovation acceleration model.
